Who We Are
About Conceivable Futures
Conceivable Futures (CF) was founded in 2016 by Sean Levias, a native of Seattle and a long-time community advocate. Mr. Levias started the organization to help first-generation students and their parents navigate the complex and unfamiliar college admissions processes, such as how to complete college applications, the FAFSA, and explore scholarship options. Mr. Levias began this work with his children as they were transitioning from high school to college, assisting them in making the tough decisions about where they would go and what they wanted to do with their lives. For many students, he found that sports guided their decisions and if they were unable to obtain entry into a Division 1 school they often lost the drive to pursue any academic options. While working with his kids, leading them on paths that still embraced their unique skills in sports, he was able to get them into smaller schools on sports scholarships. By taking a different route, his kids were able to later transfer to their preferred schools and graduate with solid career paths ahead of them. His approach worked so well with his children that many of their peers reached out to him for advice. He was able to lead these youths on their paths to success, prompting his interest in volunteering in this work.
